We just spent a fantastic five days at this cabin near Lake Lure, and it was truly perfect. It felt like a second home thanks to all the little touches the hosts provided. The cabin features a full kitchen, a barbecue, plenty of room for everyone, and it’s private and peaceful. We were about 15 minutes from Lake Lure, 11 minutes from the lake, 20 minutes from Old Fort, and around 40 minutes from Asheville, so it had a great location. We enjoyed the creek out front, the fire pit for evenings, and the game room with the pool table. I want to especially mention our host Chris, who was an excellent host. We had several requests, and he went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. He always replied in about 10 minutes, and his help made our stay memorable. Overall, it was the perfect getaway, and we’d love to come back again!

Chris’s house was perfect. The bed linens and towels were spotless, the kitchen and all utensils were very clean, and the whole home was well cared for. Check-in was easy, and Chris communicated everything clearly so there was no confusion. The house is super comfortable, tucked away in the mountains with a peaceful little creek that makes the whole place even more relaxing. It’s incredibly cozy — we truly felt at home. We already miss this place and would definitely return!

Chris’s place was such a fun place for a staycation! The property was beautiful and clean. We had plans to go out but we ended up staying in so we could fully enjoy the amenities of the house. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans for cooking. We also had a great time making s’mores at the fire pit.

We absolutely love the place! Everything was neatly arranged and cleaned! Very cozy! A beautiful place where our kiddos enjoyed the private creek and enjoyed their s’mores at the fire-pit! Definitely worth the stay and will stay soon again! Chris was the best at anything we needed! Communication was prefect!
