This one doesn't. Go out the front door, past the palm tree at the end of the street, and keep going — about three minutes on foot and you're on the sand. It's a quiet, private stretch without the crowds you'll find at the bigger public access points, so there's room to put your chairs down wherever you like. That changes how a beach day works. You can come back for lunch, put a tired toddler down for a nap, and still be back on the sand for the good light in the evening, without any of it turning into an expedition. ☆☆ BEDROOMS ☆☆ Three bedrooms, three queen beds, so nobody in a group of six is negotiating over who gets a real bed. The first bedroom has a hand-painted mural, a queen bed, a good-sized closet with room for suitcases, and a TV with Roku. Its bathroom is right there. The second bedroom has its own wallpaper treatment, another queen, a closet, dresser and nightstand, and a TV with Roku. The third bedroom is the bright one — windows on multiple sides, a queen bed, a big closet, and a TV with Roku. In the front living room, a twin daybed has a second twin on a trundle underneath, bringing the house to eight. Every bedroom has its own Bluetooth speaker. ☆☆ BATHROOMS ☆☆ Two full bathrooms, and they're deliberately different from each other. The ensuite off bedroom 1 has a walk-in shower with no lip to step over — the easier one if anyone in your group has trouble with a tub wall. The second bathroom, just outside bedroom 2, has a shower over a full bathtub. If you're travelling with small children, that tub is the reason to book this house over the one down the street. Both are stocked with towels, a hair dryer and toiletries, so you can pack lighter. ☆☆ ACCESSIBILITY ☆☆ This house was set up with accessible stays in mind, which is rare on this stretch of coast. There's a wheelchair ramp that lays over the front steps, so the entry doesn't have to be a barrier. Inside, the layout is single-story throughout — no stairs at all once you're in, and the ensuite off bedroom 1 has a walk-in shower rather than a tub to climb into. There's a doorbell that sets off an alert inside the house rather than a chime at the door, for guests who are deaf or hard of hearing. And there's a walker here for any guest who'd find one useful during their stay. Full-size refrigerator with a deep freezer, oven and range, microwave, dishwasher, and an oversized sink that makes cleanup after a big meal much less miserable. Small appliances: blender, waffle maker, toaster, crock pot and pressure cooker. Pots, pans, baking sheets, a knife set, cutting boards, and plates, bowls and glassware for a full house. Coffee is covered twice over — a drip machine and a K-cup machine, so the early riser and the rest of the house can both get what they want. You'll also find baking spices, cooking oils, vinegar and flour to start you off, plus foil, cling film and zip bags, which the owner stocks deliberately so you're not buying a whole roll for one dinner. The living room has comfortable recliners, a Samsung TV with Roku, a touchscreen thermostat that's easy to work, and a dining area for four with three more stools at the kitchen counter. ☆☆ WATCH WHAT YOU ACTUALLY WATCH ☆☆ Every TV in the house runs Roku. Sign into your own Netflix, Disney+, whatever you use — and when you enter your checkout date, Roku signs you back out automatically on that day. So you get your own shows all week without leaving your accounts logged in on a stranger's television. ☆☆ OUTSIDE ☆☆ The back yard is fully fenced and private, with a lot of new landscaping and pavers. There's a six-seat outdoor table with a lazy Susan in the middle and a big blue umbrella over it — the natural spot for dinner once the heat comes off the day. A separate seating area with three chairs sits off to the side for coffee in the morning or a drink after the kids are down. The gas grill is ready to go with propane on hand. Out front there's a small seating area that catches the shade late in the day, with a view through the palm trees toward the water.
